BIOGRAPHY
Peter is an accomplished specialist in trademark law and has a proven ability to provide effective legal counsel to businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries.
Peter provides strategic legal advice on all aspects of using and protecting trademarks and managing brands, including:
- researching the availability of proposed new marks;
- prosecuting trademark applications;
- maintaining trademark registrations;
- managing trademark portfolios;
- trademark licensing and trademark provisions of corporate transactions;
- enforcing trademark rights and responding to claims of trademark infringement; and
- advising on the proper use of trademarks owned by others
Peter previously served as lead in-house trademark counsel for JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor Chase Manhattan, where he oversaw the integration of five major trademark portfolios following successive mergers and acquisitions.
