BIOGRAPHY
With over 20 years of experience, Peter has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications that have resulted in hundreds of issued patents in the US and other countries for clients across a diverse range of technologies.
His work includes patent drafting and prosecution, prior art searching and infringement analysis. He has been involved in due diligence matters; infringement, validity, and patentability opinions; licensing matters; and reexamination proceedings. Peter Gallagher specializes in patent law with extensive experience in semiconductor technologies, integrated circuits, microcontrollers, wearable technology, and communication systems. Before transitioning to law, Peter worked as a process engineer in the semiconductor equipment industry, where he was also an inventor of patented technology.
Peter’s clients range from start-up companies to Fortune 500 companies. He represents global corporations, as well as mid-size companies, private companies and individuals.
