With over 10 years of experience, Nathaniel Sugarman represents innovative clients in the global life sciences and tech ecosystem, on various corporate and transactional matters.
His work includes advising clients on corporate transactions during all stages of a company lifecycle, from establishing entities and negotiating founders’ agreements to handling cross-border corporate financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, capital restructuring, corporate governance, and various securities and business transactions. He has been involved in negotiating and drafting various commercial agreements with business and IP components, including licensing, material transfer, services agreements, joint ventures, pilot projects, and other collaborations.
Nate’s clients range from angel investors, venture capital and private equity funds, to universities, scientists, startups, entrepreneurs, and private and public companies. He represents clients from over 60 countries in the fields of biotech, medical devices, AI, and other innovative technology, on various corporate and commercial matters.
