BIOGRAPHY
Kristin Zellmer is an Associate in the Life Sciences Group at Pearl Cohen’s New York office. Kristin’s current practice focuses primarily on patent matters in the areas of pharmaceutical and chemical industries and consumer products. She has experience analyzing Office Actions and prior art, drafting amendments, and conducting post-allowance reviews. She has also successfully prosecuted applications with the USDA’s Plant Variety Protection Office.
While a student at Boston University School of Law, Kristin was an editor of The Boston University Public Interest Law Journal and she interned in both the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and with a Massachusetts State Senator. Following law school, Kristin joined Kenyon & Kenyon LLP (now Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP) working in their patent opinion, prosecution, and litigation groups, as well as in their trademark group, representing clients primarily in the pharmaceutical and mechanical fields.
