Biography

Dr. Maya Lakstein is a Partner in the Corporate, M&A, and Corporate Finance & Securities Groups at Pearl Cohen’s Tel Aviv office. Maya has extensive experience of more than seventeen years in M&A and financing transactions involving private and public companies. She was an adjunct lecturer in Contract law at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law and served on the audit committee of the Ha'aguda Lema'an Hachayal.

Maya earned her Ph.D. in contract law from the Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Prof. Nili Cohen and was a visiting scholar at the Toronto University. She also published a book on self-help contractual remedies (Nevo publishing).

Prior to joining Pearl Cohen, Maya clerked and was an associate at Herzog, Fox & Neeman, and was a lawyer at Efrati, Galili &Co. and Ron Rotman & Co.
