BIOGRAPHY
Daniel Shaw is a European Patent Attorney and works out of Pearl Cohen’s London office. Daniel is admitted to practice before the European Patent Office and has significant experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a variety of mechanical, electrical and computing related fields, most notably including traffic control systems, autonomous vehicle communications, augmented reality, internal combustion and gas turbine engines, vehicle sub-unit control, and devices utilizing radar, lidar and sonar.
Daniel drafts freedom to operate, infringement and validity opinions. He also has experience acting in contentious inter partes proceedings including revocation actions before the UK Intellectual Property Office.
After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a B.Sc. in Theoretical Physics, Daniel studied at the University of Bournemouth for a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property.
