The Employment Group focuses on employment law, labor law, employee compensation and benefit issues, including executive employment agreements, non-competition and confidentiality covenants, termination and separation agreements, and issues concerning employment law and intellectual property law. The group provides ongoing support to clients at all stages of growth, including multinational companies and leading Israeli high tech and technology companies, with a strong emphasis on bridging employment practices across borders for multinational companies. We provide representation in all types of labor/employment dispute, negotiation, arbitration and litigation.
Our Group services include:

  • Establishing and maintaining company policies regarding employees, consultants, or independent contractors.
  •  Creating and maintaining company employment regulations, including company policy regarding engagement with employees, subcontractors, and temporary job agencies (e.g., Manpower).
  • Counseling on issues related to hiring and dismissal of employees, including representation in hearing processes were needed.
  • Representation before local labor authorities for all types of governmental permits (e.g., Saturday work, night work, termination of a pregnant woman, etc.).
  • Representation before local employee council or union.
  • Providing ongoing support with day-to-day questions regarding work relationships (e.g., sexual harassment, pregnant woman’s rights, overtime, vacation, sick leave, termination proceedings, and other similar questions). 
  • Establishing and maintaining policies to protect clients' intellectual property created by employees or service provider.
  • Protecting trade secrets and confidential business information.
  • Litigating before all labor tribunals in complex labor disputes.
  • Representation and support in order to obtain work visas, including drafting applications, special contracts and communicating with the appropriate governmental authorities, and assisting in the process required to achieve work visa and resident visas for the experts’ families.
  • Providing legal support for mergers and/or acquisition of companies in Israel, as well as due diligence related to employment arrangements preceding mergers and acquisitions.
  • Establishing, implementing and administrating multinational corporate benefit plans, such as stock option plans, stock purchase plans, phantom benefit plans, and other equity based compensation, bonus plans and commission plans.
  • Handling all negotiations with the local authorities, including the Israeli Tax Authorities and the Israeli Securities Authority, and obtain all required approvals for equity plans.
  • Providing ongoing support with day-to-day questions regarding work relationships (e.g., sexual harassment, pregnant woman’s rights, overtime, vacation, sick leave, termination proceedings, and other similar questions).
