BIOGRAPHY
Gilad is an associate in the U.S. Corporate Practice Group and the Hi-Tech Practice Group.
Gilad’s practice focuses on representing technology companies in intellectual property, licensing, and technology-related transactions. He regularly advises technology companies in the drafting and negotiation of complex strategic commercial agreements in a wide variety of industries, including, digital health, proptech, cybersecurity, agtech, insurtech, fintech, and adtech. Gilad works closely with his clients from product conception to advise them in the licensing, distribution and commercialization of their technology. He also frequently advises his clients in inbound licensing transactions and engagements with vendors and other service providers.
Gilad has experience counseling clients on privacy, data protection and other regulatory matters and has been certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E).
Gilad’s representative matters include (i) counseling proptech startup regarding structuring of SaaS-based construction solution, (ii) negotiating strategic commercial agreement for multinational insurtech provider, (iii) negotiating inbound license agreement for provider of AI-based virtual healthcare solution, (iv) advising content creation platform regarding integrated offering with services of multinational media company, and (v) representing agtech company in distribution of irrigation management platform.
Prior to joining Pearl Cohen, Gilad was an associate at Yigal Arnon & Co. in Tel Aviv, where he advised technology startups on a broad range of commercial technology transactions and data protection matters
