Dr. Cheryl (Yaffa) Schindler is a Patent Attorney in the Life Sciences Practice Group in Pearl Cohen’s Tel Aviv office. She has over 10 years’ experience in patent drafting and worldwide patent prosecution in the Life Sciences arena, as well as in infringement, validity, patentability, and freedom to operate opinions; licensing matters; and European patent opposition proceedings. Her patent procurement expertise is in the fields of neuroscience, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cellular and developmental biology, and bioinformatics.

Prior to joining Pearl Cohen, Yaffa worked as a scientific/patent editor at Rosetta Genomics, an Israeli-based company developing bioinformatic tools for microRNA gene detection.
